Elder Tyler Molinaro is HOME!

Elder Tyler Molinaro valiantly served a two-year mission for the Lord and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Arizona Scotsdale mission (for 9 months while awaiting his travel visa from the Brazilian government) and then in the Brazil, Belo Horizonte mission.  He loved the work and the people in both places!  His testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ has continually grown and strengthened and his service has been a tremendous blessing to all our family.

We so grateful Tyler had the desire to be a missionary, was worthy to do so, and that he went, he served and he grew!  Now, we are also so grateful he is home!  How he was missed by us all!  Loved his letters each week, but love having him back with us, too!

The Atlanta airport floor was about worn through as we paced, excitedly, anticipating his arrival.  With full hearts and with signs and balloons in hand, we were ready!  The second he passed through the "got my suitcases" door -- I sped like a flash to him with the most giant hug ever, and, of course, tears of joy!

Thrilled all around, we hugged and chattered and hugged some more!  A proper southern breakfast was in store at a little diner we know and then home to regroup, catch up, unpack, see pictures, hear stories, watch "The Best Two Years" movie (about missionaries out working in the mission field) and revel in being together, renewing sweet relationships.

A few days later, an open house with lots of family, friends and fun further welcomed Tyler home.  Featured treats were a popcorn bar and lemonade -- two of his all-time favorite things.  Later, his homecoming talk in church sacrament meeting centered on knowing God and His will for us -- and then doing it!  It was beautiful and powerful.  Very special to have so much of our family and many dear friends to partake of Tyler's testimony and spirit!  We are blessed!

Many open house attendees I was able to snap a picture of are featured here.  Thanks to all who shared in our happy time and those who were away, but sent their love.  XOX
