Sauntering through Covent Garden made for a festive pre-holiday stint as we dined on Shake Shack burgers (a family favorite) and took in the season's cheer with their eye-catching, 65-foot Christmas tree and giant mistletoe sprigs, complete with shiny silver bows! Merry "Kiss"mas!
Then to the nearby West End Duchess Theater for a hilarious evening of comedy at "The Play That Goes Wrong." It's a play within a play, and the actor's timing, variety of side-splitting calamities and the overall farce is too funny. It's about an amateur drama society's effort to stage a murder mystery. What a delightful misadventure!
